We are a sincere, well-cultured,upper middle-class nuclear family with strong values, devotion to Lord Tirupati Balaji, and a pure vegetarian lifestyle. Her mother is a Vadakalai Iyengar working in private school Administration, and her father is Sharma Brahmin (Deputy vice president)working in a reputed bank.
Our daughter was lovingly raised by her maternal grandparents as we parents are in service since she was born. Her maternal grandparents are traditional Vadakalai Iyengars and devoted followers of the Ahobilam Mutt. As a result, her upbringing has been deeply rooted in spiritual and cultural traditions.
Her maternal grandfather, Narasimha Chari Santhanam, is a retired Assistant Controller General in the Defence Accounts Department, and her grandmother, Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Santhanam, is a homemaker. We live in our own house in Delhi, and Ruchita is our only daughter. Her maternal uncle, Chi. Srivatsan Santhanam, is a Director of Engineering at Scotiabank, Canada and a Canadian citizen, settled in Canada. |
